I got into the game at the point, where you got double jump, but sadly i lost the game there.
I don't fully understand the health system in this game, i had only one life at the beggining, and then it incresased ?
Also it would be nice if you'll add an option to have infinite lifes, because it's quite hard, and it's frustrating to play the entire game from the beggining each time.
That's valid I guess it isn't obvious that the lava sends you to the beginning whilst spikes and traps send you to the nearest checkpoint. We have also added death boxes almost everywhere that requires the player to do platforming which send you to a checkpoint but because the lava is rising, it eventually overtakes the death boxes, sending you to the beginning. I'll look into how to make it more obvious as it can be frustrating and new players don't now that.
Regarding the lives you don't have many lives just "one" because of how our checkpointing system works.
